From Pan Soe Dan port, you can also choose the little boats which can give you some pleasure if you love small adventure. And there in the river are lovely seagulls except during the rainy season. You can feed them bread, crispbread and crisp crackers which can be bought on boat.

Another mean is by car along the Hlaing Thar Yar Bridge. It would take around 1 hour. The road is a little dusty in the dry season but you can take the photograph along the road. There is a green country scene on the roadside.
To go around in Dala, the natives use mostly the bicycles, tricycles, motorcycles and ofcourse their feet. There is no regular bus line in Dala. So as the visitors, you can hire the tricycles or motorcycles to go around in Dala. The cost is not so much and reasonable but I recommend for who is interested to visit, to read thoroughly the guide book about Dala or to accompany a native along your visit.
For highway trip, there are highway bus lines to Ton Tay, Kaw Hmuu, Kon Gyan Gone and also Phyar Pon and Bo Kalay, the delta towns. The bus gate is near the port and it is the most busy and animated part of the town.
